Overview

In this role you support KPMG’s mid-market-focused Corporate Finance practice, leading deal origination and execution for buy- and sell-side mandates. You will work within a growth-focused team to develop cross-functional relationships and deliver high-quality deal outcomes. You’ll manage internal and external relationships and help shape strategy and execution across the transaction lifecycle. The opportunity combines leadership, client-facing origination work, and hands-on deal delivery in a dynamic, ambitious setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal origination to generate buy- and sell-side mandates
• Ensure rigorous and efficient execution throughout the process
• Drive business development and market strategy within the region
• Manage internal relationships and leverage KPMG’s brand externally
• Develop and motivate a high-caliber delivery team
• Establish credibility with external parties including intermediaries and advisors
• Influence decision-making and contribute to the team’s ongoing success

Key requirements

• Strong academic & technical background (ACA, CFA, MBA or equivalent)
• Significant experience in M&A advisory (investment bank, Big 4, private equity, boutique, or corporate development)
• Proven track record in generating competitive sell- and buy-side mandates
• Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking with financial modelling experience
• Transactional experience across all phases of the deal cycle from origination to completion
• Excellent communication skills with credibility at all levels
• Proven leadership in building and developing teams
• Personal drive, attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Personable approach and ability to build trust with colleagues and clients
