Senior Project Manager - Complex Buildings

In this hybrid Cardiff role, you lead delivery of complex building projects for major clients across Property, Industry & Technology. You drive the full lifecycle from definition to handover, balancing delivery discipline with commercial awareness and stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across the full project lifecycle from definition to handover
• Manage project schedules, risks and opportunities; report to clients and project boards
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and integrate cost, schedule, procurement, safety, quality, and planning
• Develop project briefs, delivery strategies, and business case components; governance and gateway approvals
• Convene and lead project meetings; manage internal and external communications with stakeholders
• Oversee contract administration and contractor coordination using standard contract forms
• Maintain strong client/stakeholder relationships within complex organizations
• Support design management, procurement strategies and overall project governance

Key requirements

• BSc in related discipline
• Chartered or working towards chartership
• Experience in delivery roles on medium to large, complex building projects/programmes/frameworks
• Familiarity with multiple lifecycle stages: definition, approvals, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover
• Contract administration experience (NEC4 Project Manager / JCT Employer’s Agent)
• Strong client and stakeholder relationship skills
• Ability to manage schedules, risks and reporting to clients and boards
