Senior Vice President - FX Platform Sales , EMEA

Overview

In this role, you will lead revenue growth by originating and closing FX mandates for institutional clients across the EMEA region, leveraging BNY's FX execution and platform solutions. You will partner with clients and internal teams to deliver measurable commercial outcomes and expand wallet share through strategic account plans. This high-visibility sales leadership role combines relationship management, product collaboration, and market insight to strengthen BNY’s position in institutional FX. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of Custody FX and FX Overlay while staying ahead of market trends and technology advances.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and pipeline targets by originating and converting FX mandates from institutional clients
• Develop strategic account plans and lead complex sales opportunities from engagement to implementation
• Drive adoption of FX execution and platform solutions across existing and prospective clients
• Manage and expand wallet share through cross-sell within strategic accounts
• Build trusted relationships with senior buy-side decision-makers and act as trusted FX advisor
• Lead client reviews, business development discussions, and solution design engagements
• Collaborate with Product, Trading, Asset Servicing, Relationship Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology
• Provide market intelligence to influence product development and broader commercial strategy
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and analytics to improve client engagement and sales productivity
• Represent BNY at industry events and maintain strong CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy

Key requirements

• Extensive institutional FX sales experience in a global bank, custodian, liquidity provider, or execution services
• Proven track record of originating and winning FX mandates with institutional investors
• Expertise in Securities-related FX services, FX Overlay solutions, and benchmark/systematic execution
• Experience with Emerging Markets FX trading technology and workflow solutions
• Proven success in revenue generation, pipeline development, and complex sales
• Excellent client-facing, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Strong commercial judgment and strategic thinking
• Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed global organization
• Demonstrated technology and AI literacy to leverage data and AI-enabled tools
