Oncologist - Solid Tumor Medical Director

Overview

In this role you provide medical, scientific, and strategic leadership to plan, execute, and report clinical trials, serving as the internal medical expert for study reports and regulatory documents. You contribute to new clinical projects, including study design and protocols, and collaborate across departments to ensure high-quality trial outcomes. You will lead medical management, safety oversight, and cross-functional coordination in support of oncology and solid tumor programs. Responsibilities

• Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials
• Contribute medical input to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts
• Manage safety issues in clinical trials and liaise with colleagues on evaluation
• Participate in new business development through proposals and sponsor meetings
• Coordinate with other departments across all study phases and medical information management
• Advise on protocol adherence and study processes

Key requirements

• MD degree or equivalent
• Board certification and current medical licensure preferred
• Prior clinical trial research experience preferred
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical-related clinical research preferred
