As Procurement and Contracts Manager, you own the procurement strategy across design, manufacture, installation and commissioning projects, including indirect spend. You will develop supplier relationships, lead tenders and negotiations, and oversee a procurement team to drive safety, quality and cost improvements. You’ll ensure compliant, streamlined processes and provide contractual guidance to the business. This role supports Framatome UK’s growth and its mission to deliver safe, reliable nuclear solutions.

Responsibilities
Craft and implement innovative, cost-effective procurement strategies
Own and improve procurement procedures and processes
Set objectives for procurement performance and monitor KPIs
Identify strategic partners and manage long-term supplier contracts
Manage RFQs and align tendering with project needs
Oversee upstream procurement operations and team development
Lead price and term negotiations with suppliers (in coordination with legal)
Guide tenders and projects to optimal routes to market
Drive procurement transformation to enhance efficiency
Oversee logistics, weights/dimensions, and PO compliance
Forecast market changes and internal demand, support audits
Advise on contractual positions and disputes with suppliers
Stakeholder management across Framatome functions
Key requirements
Degree-level education or higher knowledge (unknown specific field)
SAP knowledge
Experience in reviewing, writing and negotiating contracts; NEC model form contracts
MCIPS qualification
Experience managing claims and disputes with suppliers
5+ years in procurement/supply chain leadership
Experience with major projects and multi-scope/category procurement
Experience in highly regulated industries
Strong negotiation and commercial/contractual acumen
