Quantity Surveyor

Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor based in Epsom, you will manage commercial aspects for high-end main contractor projects in Surrey and London. You will report to the Director, overseeing cost control, procurement, and financial reporting to keep projects on budget. You’ll work across mid-to-high value schemes, shaping commercial outcomes and ensuring robust, value-driven delivery. This role offers exposure to prestigious builds and a clear link between cost management and project success.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost planning, budgeting and cash flow for projects
• Prepare and value variations, subcontractor payments, and final accounts
• Monitor cost performance and forecast outturn against budget
• Support procurement: tendering, subcontractor selection and contract administration
• Provide regular commercial reporting to the Director and project stakeholders
• Liaise with clients, consultants and site teams to resolve financial issues
• Maintain risk registers and implement change control processes

Key requirements

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a contractor/main contractor environment
• Strong cost control, valuation and contract administration skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes and subcontractor management
• Ability to work with project teams and report to senior management
• Excellent numeric and analytical能力
