Quantity Surveyor

Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support a £12m civils and infrastructure project by delivering accurate cost control, forecasting, and contractual administration. You will work within a small team reporting to a Senior QS, collaborating with subcontractors and onsite teams to keep the project on budget and on time. You’ll handle monthly cost reporting, cost/value reconciliations, and change events to drive value. This role offers a clear path to progression in a framework with local authorities and private clients.

Responsibilities

• Accurate monthly forecasting
• Producing and sending enquiries with relevant documentation to subcontractors
• Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliation
• Change control and producing compensation events
• Producing, submitting, and agreeing monthly applications
• Attend weekly progress meetings

Key requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of basic quantity surveying principles
• Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
• Ability to drive for site visits
