Senior Associate Global Lab Informatics

Overview

As Global Lab Informatics Sr. Associate, you lead and sustain Elanco’s laboratory informatics landscape with a focus on LabVantage across the QC Network. You act as a global liaison for site labs, Global Quality, and MQ/IT teams, providing strategic program leadership, governance, and project management. You drive data mastery, reporting, and lifecycle processes to maximize LabVantage value while ensuring quality compliance. This fixed‑term role offers the chance to shape global lab systems that support animal health innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership for LabVantage deployment and maintain alignment with timelines and metrics
• Serve as primary contact for site leadership to prioritize projects and remove barriers
• Lead discovery and creation of master data, reports, dashboards, and other LabVantage deliverables
• Define and implement sustainable lifecycle management for LabVantage
• Capture deployment learnings to improve downstream implementations
• Ensure LabVantage compliance with CSQ/CSV requirements
• Develop and implement business processes to optimize LabVantage use
• Refine business requirements with SMEs and stakeholders and represent them in vendor discussions
• Adhere to company policies including QMS, Code of Conduct, and HSE
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Travel up to 10% (domestic and international)

Key requirements

• Bachelor degree in a relevant science or IT field
• Laboratory experience in a regulated environment (e.g., USDA/FDA/VMD)
• Strong knowledge of laboratory operations and processes
• Demonstrated experience with LabVantage
• Analytical, problem-solving and business sense
• Ability to lead and support, with a collaborative mindset
• Effective written and verbal communication; presentation and facilitation skills
• Interpersonal savvy and ability to build senior relationships
• Drive for excellence and ability to influence change
• Self-motivated with leadership willingness in project teams and across the company
