Senior/Principal EIA Consultant

Overview

In this role you apply your EIA and environmental management knowledge to coordinate statutory and non-statutory assessments across major developments. You will work within the UK Impact Assessment team to support projects from due diligence through consent and commissioning, collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to deliver sustainable solutions. You’ll drive meaningful change across data centre, industrial, and property sectors while mentoring others and expanding client relationships. This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role with a clear impact on securing environmentally responsible outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Project management and coordination of environmental baseline data collection and interpretation
• Preparation and review of environmental reports (due diligence, EIA screening & scoping, Environmental Statements) and spatial data management
• Coordinate and manage technical and commercial aspects of project delivery
• Support business development through proposals, tenders, and marketing materials
• Mentor and develop junior team members and contribute to team leadership
• Build relationships with Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners, and clients
• Engage with clients in meetings and networking events

Key requirements
