Senior Quantity Surveyor – FRC

Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on major infrastructure FRC projects in the Midlands. Responsibilities

• Prepare, assess and negotiate contract documents, valuations and variations
• Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets and cash flow forecasts
• Manage subcontractor procurement and commercial negotiations
• Liaise with site teams and procurement to deliver cost-effective solutions
• Monitor project progress and financial performance
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Handle claims management, dispute resolution and final accounts settlements
• Provide support and mentoring to junior team members

Key requirements

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
• Previous experience as a Senior/Quantity Surveyor in the Civil Engineering industry, ideally on major infrastructure projects
• Good understanding of FRC works (advantage)
• Sound knowledge of NEC forms of contract
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Full UK driving license
