Audit & Accounts Senior

Overview

In this role you will lead audit engagements from planning through completion across diverse clients, supporting junior staff on site while delivering high-quality accounts work. You will produce and review statutory accounts and tax returns, and liaise with managers and partners to maintain excellent client service. The role blends audit leadership with accounts production in a collaborative practice. This is a chance to grow within a supportive team and contribute to a well-regarded client base.

Responsibilities

• Execute audits from planning to completion for a broad client base
• Act as Audit Senior on site and guide junior staff
• Prepare and review accounts for limited companies, including groups and consolidated statements
• Produce Corporation Tax Returns
• Review accounts prepared by junior colleagues
• Tax compliance duties
• Support clients with queries and coordinate with managers and partners to ensure high service levels

Key requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Solid practice background
• Strong audit knowledge and desire for a mixed audit and accounts role
• Experience with UK GAAP and FRS 102 reporting
