Staff Product Manager, Benefits

Overview

In this role you will own the Benefits product across multiple stages and markets, helping to scale and deepen adoption globally. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-enabled experiences that simplify benefits administration for companies and workers worldwide. You’ll drive both 1-to-100 growth and 0-to-1 innovation, shaping a critical area of Deel’s platform. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact opportunity in a fast-moving, globally distributed company.

Responsibilities

• Own the 1-to-100 growth of Benefits by gathering customer feedback, iterating quickly, and enhancing depth and global user experience
• Ensure AI is core to the product and user experience, automating tasks previously done by humans
• Improve integrations, enrollment flows, and the experience for global companies and employees managing benefits
• Collaborate with Ops, Sales, and GTMs to enable scalable selling and adoption
• Make hard prioritisation decisions across a complex multi-market product with significant commercial stakes
• Define and ship an MVP for a new Benefits product vertical within the first 3 months
• Conduct structured discovery to clearly frame problems and translate insights into shipped product
• Leverage existing Deel infrastructure and assets where relevant
• Engage in peer-level technical discussions with engineering leads to validate constraints and feasibility
• Actively use AI tools in day-to-day workflows with concrete, not aspirational, adoption
• Navigate prioritisation trade-offs with a CEO who is directly engaged in product decisions

Key requirements

• Real 0-to-1 product experience from blank page to market
• Strong product instincts backed by evidence
• Active AI fluency; hands-on use of AI tools today
• Technical credibility to discuss APIs, integrations, and data models with engineers
• High agency from day one; able to create structure without a completed roadmap
• B2B SaaS experience at scaling startups; multi-country product experience
• 7+ years of PM experience with demonstrable senior impact
• Fintech, payments, or embedded finance background
