Associate Director/Principal Consultant - Defence Asset Management - AMCL

Overview

In this role you lead high-profile Defence engagements and shape solutions for the MOD and its supply chain. You will drive delivery, manage client relationships and project metrics, and help identify new opportunities. You join a team of asset management thought leaders and leverage Turner & Townsend networks to advance your career. You contribute to cutting-edge approaches and act as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on leadership to transform Defence sector asset management.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-profile client engagements with accountability for technical delivery, client relationships, profitability, and project metrics
• Leverage knowledge and network to identify and secure new Defence sector opportunities
• Shape project solutions and manage delivery teams to achieve optimal client and people outcomes
• Advise senior leaders on shaping business strategy and developing internal capabilities
• Develop, lead, and manage key Defence sector relationships
• Identify and secure opportunities in new and existing markets
• Drive thought leadership and represent AMCL at conferences worldwide
• Coach and mentor team members

Key requirements

• Strong MoD track record with a broad network
• Decisive leader experienced with leadership teams to set direction
• Experience on or with asset or infrastructure projects
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness
• Broad Defence sector network
• Analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to balance competing needs and manage time/workload
• Willingness to travel
