Project Risk Specialist

Overview

In this role you will strengthen the risk management capability within our Programme Performance team for Defence, Rail, Infrastructure, and Digital/AI projects. You will develop and embed ISO 31000-aligned risk frameworks and support data-driven decisions across portfolios. You will collaborate with the Lead Risk Manager to deliver integrated risk insights that enhance resilience and performance, at a firm committed to sustainable, risk-aware programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks aligned with ISO 31000 across portfolios, programmes, and projects
• Conduct Quantitative Risk Analysis and generate insightful reports to support data-driven decision making
• Utilise risk management software and dashboards to monitor risk exposure and inform stakeholders
• Ensure integration with project controls (cost management, scheduling, change management) for cohesive project execution
• Collaborate with the Lead Risk Manager and cross-functional teams to enhance risk resilience and performance across the lifecycle

Key requirements

• Industry experience in Defence, Rail, Infrastructure, or Digital/AI environments
• Expertise in risk management frameworks (ISO31000)
• Experience with risk software such as ARM, @Risk/Risk Simulator, Predict!, Primavera P6 Risk Analysis
• Proficiency in Quantitative Risk Analysis and reporting
• Understanding of project controls integration (cost, schedule, change)
