Competition & Antitrust Lawyer

Overview

In this role you will work within Jameson Legal's Competition & Antitrust team in London, handling a spectrum of contentious and non-contentious matters. You will contribute to investigations, compliance advising, merger control, and competition litigation across UK and cross-border matters. You’ll collaborate with colleagues on high-profile cases before CMA, NSIA, the Competition Appeal Tribunal and High Court, while supporting business development. You will help shape strategy and deliver market-leading advice in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on investigations, complaints and cartel matters
• Provide compliance advice and develop competition compliance programmes
• Handle merger control, joint ventures and foreign direct investments
• Provide antitrust and competition advisory support
• Advise on commercial agreements and arrangements
• Contribute to competition litigation
• Engage in advisory work including abuse of dominance

Key requirements

• Strong academic background
• Experience and/or strong interest in Competition Litigation
• Enthusiasm for marketing and business development
• Ability to work effectively within a team and mentor junior lawyers
