SAP Functional Consultant (PS) - up to 90,000 + Bonus - Hybrid

Overview

In this role, you will design, configure and optimise SAP Project Systems within an S/4HANA Professional Services context to support project planning, costing, billing and financial management. You will work across Finance, Professional Services, Resource Management and IT to deliver scalable SAP solutions that enable critical business operations. You will translate business needs into SAP PS configurations, produce functional designs and lead workshops and training. The role offers exposure to enterprise-scale transformations with a strong focus on process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP Project Systems solutions
• Configure SAP PS including Project Definitions, WBS Elements, Cost Planning, Budget Profiles and Settlement Rules
• Design and support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, costing and project financial management processes
• Configure professional services billing including Time & Materials, Fixed Price, Milestone Billing and Resource Related Billing
• Integrate SAP PS with SAP SD, FI/CO, HR and external business applications
• Support time recording, expense management and resource planning integrations
• Configure revenue recognition, project settlements and financial reporting
• Develop project profitability reporting and management information
• Produce functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios and solution designs
• Deliver workshops, user training and business demonstrations
• Provide L2/L3 functional support while identifying opportunities to optimise processes and automate manual activities

Key requirements

• Strong experience configuring SAP Project Systems (PS)
• Experience working within SAP S/4HANA Professional Services environments
• Knowledge of SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM)
• Strong understanding of project planning, costing, billing and project financial management
• Experience integrating SAP PS with SD, FI/CO, Time Management and related SAP modules
• Experience producing functional specifications, testing documentation and solution designs
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
