Sales Manager - Parcel

Overview

In this role you drive growth in the UK parcel solutions segment by building strong customer relationships and leading multi-disciplinary teams through tender and solution design. You will collaborate across UK and global functions to ensure proposals meet customer needs and deliver best-value services. The position offers exposure to automation in parcel systems and opportunities to influence project and service outcomes with cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with key parcel customers in the UK
• Lead and manage matrixed teams during the tender process for sales opportunities (project and service)
• Coordinate multi-disciplined teams to support scope definition, design and programme look ahead to determine the best value-add solution
• Negotiate terms and conditions for project opportunities with the UK Contracts Manager
• Present solutions to customers, including pricing, products and systems layout, to meet commercial requirements
• Foster effective working relationships with all departments in the UK and globally to exceed customer expectations
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., NEME, India) to align on customer delivery and support

Key requirements

• Automation experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Preferred knowledge of the UK parcel market and/or customer operations
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret drawings
• Flexibility to undertake European travel
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
