Overview

In this role you will lead design management for residential developments and regeneration schemes, coordinating technical guidance across projects. You will split time between the Hertfordshire office and site visits to Aylesbury and London, ensuring design delivery aligns with regulations and safety standards. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to shape development outcomes and support the company’s mission to transform communities. The opportunity offers a hands-on role in a growing regional contractor with a clear focus on quality, compliance, and impactful projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design for residential/regeneration schemes
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and NHBC requirements
• Apply CDM health and safety regulations across projects
• Maintain planning compliance and coordinate with stakeholders
• Conduct site visits to monitor design delivery and quality
• Utilize design tools and software to support project delivery

Key requirements

• Experience on residential/regeneration schemes with Main Contractor or Developer
• CIAT qualification preferred
• AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Power Projects, PowerPoint
• Strong design, engineering construction knowledge
• Building Regulations knowledge
• NHBC legislation understanding
• Health & Safety / CDM Regulations knowledge
• Understanding of Planning legislation
