Incentives Associate / Senior Associate

Overview

In this role you will join a market-leading incentives team in Bristol to advise on the design, implementation and governance of employee and executive incentive plans for a diverse client base. You will work on HMRC-approved and unapproved share schemes, employee benefit trusts, cross-border structures and equity incentives tied to transactions, IPOs and restructures. The role combines standalone advisory work with support on major transactions, offering early responsibility and a clear development path.

Responsibilities

• Advise on design, implementation and governance of incentive plans
• Work with HMRC-approved and unapproved share schemes
• Structure and govern employee benefit trusts
• Develop cross-border incentive structures
• Manage equity incentives on transactions, IPOs, M&A and restructures
• Oversee employee ownership trusts
• Provide executive tax planning and compliance guidance
• Engage in standalone advisory projects and support on major transactions

Key requirements

• Experience in incentives, tax, corporate, or employment law
• Familiarity with HMRC-approved and growth share schemes
• Strong team player with a proactive mindset
• Background in a law or accountancy firm
