Senior Associate - Employment

Overview

In this role you will be a senior employment solicitor contributing to Mills & Reeve’s Employment, Pensions and Immigration NSL. Responsibilities

• Manage your own matters day-to-day and delegate to junior employment lawyers
• Lead Employment Tribunal and advisory matters with appropriate supervision at Senior Associate level
• Develop strong client relationships and provide high-quality employment law advice
• Support client training, marketing and business development activities
• Collaborate with the team to service a diverse client base including health and care, manufacturing, automotive, retail and higher education sectors

Key requirements

• 4+ years' experience as an employment lawyer in a reputable law firm or via in-house experience
• Self-starting, initiative-driven, and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent time and document management skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage matters independently and supervise juniors
• Strong client relationship skills and the ability to influence and persuade
• Experience advising large employers; advocacy experience desirable
