Surveyor Analyst

Overview

In this role you will perform asbestos surveying and analytical duties across client sites in Birmingham and the surrounding region, ensuring compliance with HSG264, HSG248, and UKAS procedures. You will manage multiple sites with a supportive team, delivering high-quality surveys and reports while maintaining professional standards. The position offers structured workload, ongoing training, and clear progression in a well-regarded UKAS-accredited consultancy. You will contribute to safe, compliant asbestos management across diverse sectors and locations.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition surveys in accordance with HSG264
• Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearance, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing per HSG248
• Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
• Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across various property types
• Managing own workload efficiently across multiple client sites
• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

Key requirements

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)
• Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation
• Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
• Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
