Overview

As a Quality Systems Technologist, you will provide technical quality support to customers, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring legal, safety and quality standards are met. You will maintain the site’s QMS, participate in audits, and drive improvements across governance and documentation. You’ll assist with allergen management, trend analysis and change management to keep launches and promotions on track. You’ll work closely with the technical leadership and NPD teams to uphold compliance and enable smooth operations. This role offers hands-on impact in a fast-paced dessert manufacturing site with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve Quality Systems for the site, including audits, legislation, and customer requirements
Provide service to the technical leadership team, handling data entry, filing, and change management
Update and maintain allergen risk assessments with new ingredients/products
Analyse trends, identify issues, and escalate to the technical leadership team
Develop technical systems to meet standards and customer needs
Manage customer interface professionally and promptly; contribute to customer audits
Share information with site governance forums and relevant stakeholders
Conduct internal QMS audits, track actions/nonconformances, and report to governance forums
Collaborate with Technical management to ensure compliance with standards, COP and legislation
Coordinate with NPD on launches, delists, and promotions to avoid disruption
Deputise and support others in the technical team and participate in projects
Operate safely and support continuous safety improvements
