Credit Control Manager

Overview

In this Regional Credit Control Manager role, you will help safeguard cash flow by leading credit control activities across the region. You will work with Finance and operations to manage aged debt, assess credit risk, and improve credit processes. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to resolve disputes, monitor performance against forecasts, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end credit control activities and client onboarding
• Perform credit assessments and monitor credit limits
• Drive cash collection and manage aged debt with escalation to senior leadership
• Resolve invoice queries and disputes with cross-functional teams
• Conduct regular cash collection and aged debt reviews with business leaders
• Produce aged debt, cash collection and credit risk reports for decision-making
• Identify process and system improvements across the credit control function
• Support external and internal audits and ensure compliance with policies
• Maintain robust financial controls and adherence to delegated authorities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients

Key requirements

• Proven track record in credit control, debt recovery, and cash collection
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and resolving aged debt in professional services
• Strong understanding of credit risk management and account reconciliations
• Experience producing financial/management information reports
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables)
• Experience with ERP/finance systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar
• Ability to challenge stakeholders and escalate to CFO when needed
• Commercial awareness and continuous improvement mindset
