Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you lead procurement for a brand-new RC Frame residential scheme of 85+ units in North East Surrey. You will work with a respected contractor/developer and coordinate with the main contractor to secure cost-effective buys and timely delivery. The position offers an immediate start for the right candidate and focuses on managing procurement on a high-profile residential project. You will contribute to project value and schedule by applying your QS expertise to procurement decisions.

Responsibilities

• lead procurement for a large RC Frame apartment scheme
• manage supplier and subcontractor selection and pricing
• cost planning, valuation, and cost control on the project
• collaborate with main contractor to align procurement with construction schedule
• prepare and issue procurement documents and contracts
• monitor supplier performance and mitigate commercial risk
• update cost reports and forecast final outturn
• coordinate with project team to support on-site delivery and handover

Key requirements

• degree qualified Quantity Surveyor
• main contractor experience
• experience with RC Frame residential schemes
• ability to start immediately
