Responsibilities

• Set up, administer and close charities
• Advise trustees on duties, powers and governance
• Handle charity mergers and transfers of assets
• Engage with the Charity Commission on regulatory matters
• Draft charity policies
• Build and nurture client relationships and participate in BD/networking
• Provide expert legal advice on governance and compliance

Key requirements

• 5+ years PQE in charity law
• Experience creating and registering charitable entities
• Advising trustees on duties, powers and governance
• Handling charity mergers and closures/registrations
• Drafting policies for charities
