Overview

As Director in EY's Global CoE, you will lead strategic, multinational Direct Tax and Tax Accounting engagements, shaping client tax operations with technology-enabled solutions. You’ll build senior-level relationships, drive cross-border delivery, and steer the tax function transformation agenda. This role combines tax expertise with digital and transformation capabilities to deliver compliance, reporting, and strategic insights for large global clients. You’ll lead teams across geographies and contribute to EY’s market leadership in tax innovation.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow multinational client relationships across Direct Tax and Tax Accounting services.
Oversee executive-level delivery of large-scale, multi-country tax programmes and compliance engagements.
Drive account growth, pursue strategic opportunities, and coordinate cross-service-line teams across geographies.
Shape delivery strategy, governance, and reporting frameworks; supervise tax operating models; support Pillar Two and emerging tax developments.
Develop and mentor global delivery teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and talent development.

Key requirements

Strong market-facing presence with proven client relationship growth.
Proven track record in originations and conversions of business development opportunities.
Deep technical expertise in Direct Tax and Tax Accounting.
Experience leading large, complex multi-country engagements.
Ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders and executives.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive profitable growth.
