Overview

You will handle a varied private family caseload in a fast-growing, Legal 500-recognised department. In North Devon, you’ll support high-value matrimonial finance, divorce, private children matters, and nuptial agreements, while building strong client relationships. You’ll contribute to the department’s growth and supervise junior fee earners, operating with clarity, commercial awareness and care. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of private family matters (matrimonial finance, high-value and multi-asset cases)
• Handle divorce and separation, cohabitation issues, and private children law
• Draft and advise on pre- and post-nuptial agreements
• Deliver clear, client-focused advice with commercial awareness
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to departmental growth
• Supervise junior fee earners and support team development

Key requirements

• 4+ years' PQE in family law
• Strong technical expertise in financial remedy and private children matters
• Excellent communication and client care skills
