Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of Project Managers and maintain competency matrices
• Ensure compliance with PMF and SOX controls; oversee monthly project reviews, contract administration (NEC/early warnings, compensation events, payments)
• Monitor commercial, quality and risk positions; own distressed projects and implement corrective actions
• Foster PM–PTL collaboration and coordinate with Global Delivery Centre to optimize resourcing
• Lead HSSE audits and champion SaferTogether culture across project delivery teams

Key requirements

• Proven project management leadership experience in UK Water or infrastructure/energy sectors
• Strong knowledge of NEC and governance/SOX frameworks
• Excellent financial and risk management skills (budgets, earned value, pricing, contractual resolutions)
• Collaborative leadership with strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship-building abilities
• Resilience and problem-solving skills with experience turning around distressed projects
