Project Architect

Overview

In this role you will own residential projects from concept through completion within a collaborative RIBA Chartered practice. You’ll lead project teams, liaise with clients, and navigate all RIBA stages with autonomy. The position blends high-end private and developer schemes, extensions and refurbishments, offering varied, hands-on responsibility. You’ll work in a culture of mutual respect, trust, and flexible working, shaping projects end-to-end and building a strong professional reputation.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from concept to completion across all RIBA stages
• Lead and manage project teams and client liaison
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and practical application
• Collaborate with stakeholders to inform design decisions
• Maintain high-quality standards and timely delivery

Key requirements

• RIBA/ARB Registered Architect
• Min two years' post-qualification UK practice experience
• Fully proficient with AutoCAD
• Strong residential sector experience (private and developer)
• Effective communicator and client liaison
• Solid understanding of building regulations and RIBA process
