In this role you own the platform foundations for ICIS's AI capabilities, shaping how AI-ready data, semantics, and MCP-first distribution power internal products, partner integrations, and AI-native customer experiences. You’ll drive platform standards, adoption, and the operating model for scalable AI, partnering with multiple stakeholders to deliver trusted market intelligence at scale. The opportunity focuses on defining data contracts, schemas, and distribution approaches that amplify impact across the business. You work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment to turn customer signals into reusable platform primitives that enable AI-driven insights.
Responsibilities
Define the platform mission and roadmap for AI-ready data, semantics, and MCP-first distribution
Establish standards, contracts, schemas, versioning, deprecation, and quality measures for AI-ready data
Evaluate customer signals to identify reusable platform primitives vs bespoke or retirements
Drive adoption of platform primitives across internal product teams with measurable usage and business impact
Shape AI-native distribution strategy, including protocols, channels, integrations, and commercial approaches
Lead the AI-ready data and content operations platform squad without direct management
Co-author the operating model for scalable AI platforms (evaluation, lineage, responsible AI)
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate adoption, integrations, and commercial opportunities
Key requirements
Track record shipping platform capabilities (APIs, data products, semantic layers, evaluation frameworks)
Experience owning platform strategy, roadmap, and delivery in data/AI/product environments
Technical credibility for architecture discussions (RAG, evaluations, agents, MCP, data platforms)
Recent hands-on experience with AI tooling through prototypes, integrations, agents, tools
Experience influencing decisions in a matrix organization with senior stakeholders
Strong product judgment translating feedback into scalable platform direction
Ability to navigate ambiguity, create structure, and drive platform adoption at scale
Experience with semantic technologies, AI interoperability protocols, AI platform integrations, or major data distribution ecosystems (beneficial)
