In this role you will lead commercial management for projects within an integrated design and build provider in the water sector. You will work closely with design, construction and supply chain teams to control costs and ensure business requirements are met. You will manage main contracts, issue subcontract documentation, and oversee payments and cost reporting. The role offers scope to develop junior commercial staff and contribute to project success within a supportive team. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape cost outcomes and contract performance on key water sector projects.

Responsibilities
Undertake quantity surveying duties to manage projects and work packages
Collaborate with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyse, and control costs
Liaise with client to ensure business requirements are met
Manage the main contract, including contractual notices and correspondence
Prepare and issue subcontract documentation
Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors
Manage preparation and agreement of applications for payment
Prepare project cost & value reports, budgets, and forecasts
Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staff
Key requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification
Working towards or chartered membership of a recognised institution
Experience in utilities or construction sectors
Experience with NEC3/4 contracts
Experience managing and developing an individual or small team
