Senior Technical Program Manager

Overview

In this role you will steer the end-to-end delivery of payment products, coordinating across multiple teams to align with Monzo’s mission. You’ll shape roadmaps, manage risks, and drive speed of delivery while ensuring operational effectiveness. You will work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a global, flexible environment. This is a high-impact leadership position that helps scale Monzo’s payment offerings and customer impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution for launching payment products across teams and disciplines
• Manage cross-collective programs: define roadmaps, milestones, priorities, trade-offs, and risks; align with business goals
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and fast delivery
• Manage dependencies, timeline, and sequencing of delivery
• Drive decision making to remove blockers and accelerate delivery
• Ensure operational effectiveness across your collective/area

Key requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing complex technology programs or products from inception to launch
• Strong ability to communicate clearly to diverse audiences, including executive leadership
• Experience operating in a global business with multiple markets and scalability focus
• Ability to work with a diverse range of people and working styles; capable of constructive influence
• Understanding of how functionality comes together across products and platforms to deliver user value; ability to identify and mitigate delivery risks
• Willingness to dive deep into data and architecture to inform decisions in complex situations
