In this role, you will lead a portfolio of transformation initiatives within a busy transformation team at a leading professional services firm. You will coordinate multiple workstreams, manage risks, and ensure business outcomes align with strategic objectives. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, project teams, and suppliers to embed governance and best practices. The position offers exposure to cross-functional change and the chance to shape operating models in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage delivery of a portfolio of transformation projects and change initiatives
Coordinate activities across multiple business functions and regions
Develop and monitor programme plans, milestones, and deliverables
Align workstreams and dependencies with Project Managers
Identify, manage and mitigate programme risks, issues and challenges
Escalate risks and implement mitigation plans
Support resource planning and allocation across projects
Contribute to governance, reporting and stakeholder communications
Promote adoption of programme management methodologies and best practices
Assist design and implementation of new operating models and ways of working
Ensure projects deliver value for money and align with strategic objectives
Handle competing priorities and tight deadlines
Build relationships to enable effective change delivery
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and influence decisions when requirements conflict
Prepare documents, reports and presentations for senior leadership and boards
Key requirements
Demonstrable experience managing programmes and large-scale transformation initiatives
Strong programme and project management skills with experience across multiple workstreams
Proactive, solutions-focused and adaptable approach
Experience identifying and managing programme risks and resolving complex issues
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills
Strong documentation, reporting and governance experience
Experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
