Principal Nuclear Waste Consultant

Overview

In this role you will lead nuclear waste management consulting across international and UK projects, shaping strategies from client advisory to turnkey delivery. You’ll manage technical work, budgets, and quality while mentoring teammates. You’ll build strong client relationships, contribute to bids, and help grow the nuclear practice. The work spans multi-disciplinary projects, including decommissioning studies and regulator engagement, in a dynamic, impact-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical work across multiple projects
• Manage tasks, budgets, and quality controls
• Mentor and develop team members
• Collaborate with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders to meet timelines and technical standards
• Multitask across projects and proposals
• Prepare costed proposals and business development materials
• Build long-term client relationships and internal networks
• Support practice leadership in winning new opportunities
