Senior Business Development Associate

Overview

In this role, you will drive new business with UK charities, guiding them from first contact to close using our fundraising platform. You’ll work with cross-functional colleagues across Sales, Customer Success and Product to tailor demonstrations and proposals that address charity goals. You’ll own the sales pipeline, conduct discovery sessions, and push opportunities through HubSpot to close. This is a fast-paced, impact-oriented role in a company that supports social good and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with medium and large UK charities across the full sales cycle
• Generate opportunities through outbound activity (phone, email, social) and qualify leads into value-focused conversations
• Conduct discovery sessions and deliver tailored product demonstrations showing fundraising platform impact
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline in HubSpot and collaborate to ensure opportunities are progressed to close

Key requirements

• Experience selling software or technology, ideally SaaS or B2B
• Confident negotiating with stakeholders and handling objections with clarity and empathy
• Interest in the charity or not-for-profit sector and desire to support good causes
• Experience sharing feedback with Product or broader teams to improve customer outcomes
