Senior Service Designer

Overview

Join Hippo as a Senior Consultant in service design to lead strategic planning for client services and shape propositions. Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning for the client’s service to meet business and user needs
• Articulate goals using artefacts such as service maps, value propositions, or service blueprints
• Advise on approaches to organizational problems
• Plan and facilitate groups to a common goal and advocate for the customer
• Generate concepts and plans for new or improved service propositions
• Simplify cross-departmental information via visual communication

Key requirements

• End-to-end service design expertise and ability to improve underperforming services
• Experience partnering with service/product owners and senior stakeholders
• Pragmatic approach to meeting client needs
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and validating decisions with user research and design analysis
• Manage relationships and build long-term strategic partnerships
• Advanced experience with Agile delivery
• Ability to build trust in teams and respond to challenges
• GDS or Public Sector experience is advantageous but not required
