Post Room Operative

Overview

In this role you will manage mail and packages on-site in London, ensuring timely sorting, preparation and delivery within SLA. You will handle client inquiries, coordinate with multiple couriers, and keep systems up to date. You work closely with the Contract Manager and the wider on-site team to support smooth post room operations. This is an on-site role that emphasizes reliable service, cross-team collaboration and adherence to client requirements. This position offers a hands-on, essential operations function within a global real estate services firm.

Responsibilities

• Categorise and re-source mail accurately
• Handle telephone queries from clients
• Coordinate with multiple couriers throughout the day
• Update client systems (DHL, Pitney Bowes)
• Prepare mail/packages for pick up
• Deliver mail to clients twice daily
• Provide porterage support when required
• Ensure post/packages meet client SLA timeframes
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Contract Admin Manager
