Our extensive product range includes bricks, cladding, blocks, timber and sheet materials, flooring, landscaping products, and a wide selection of builders materials and supplies.

About the Role

As an Internal Salesperson, you will actively participate in the sales of timber and building products whilst supporting the external sales manager to service an established customer base as well as converting prospective accounts into trading customers.

We are looking for the right attitude, a positive approach and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and build new accounts.

Maintain, manage and develop existing accounts.

Build positive, constructive relationships with customers and suppliers, communicating effectively and promptly.

Serve customers at the sales counter in a friendly, professional and helpful manner, building face-to-face relationships with customers.

Support stock control and replenishment.

Respond to all customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Embrace training and development in sales and product knowledge.

Learn about building materials, products and services so you can provide accurate advice.

Maintain good customer records and follow company procedures.

Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.

What We Are Looking For

Ability to build and maintain business relationships.

Excellent administrative skills and experience in order processing.

Must have desire and aptitude to learn

Driven, ambitious and highly motivated

Confident with a strong desire for a successful career in sales

Personable, presentable and professional

Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
