As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. Were looking for our first Occupational Hygienist based in Ireland as SOCOTEC expands its services and offerings to clients. Our team based in East Kilbride, Scotland are seeking to appoint a qualified occupational hygienist/technologist based in Northern Ireland. The team in Scotland already conduct a substaintial amount of work for clients with sites in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Occupational Hygienist to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, youll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in occupational hygiene, along with knowledge of monitoring, assessment and reporting, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Occupational hygiene monitoring and assessment techniques
• Data analysis and scientific interpretation, report writing and explanation
• Equipment maintenance and calibration
• Liaising with clients and contractors regarding surveys and assessment

Job requirements

To be a successful Occupational Hygienist, you should be able to demonstrate:
Degree educated or equivalent, BOHS modules
Excellent IT and organisational skills
Good communication skills
