Job Opening: Forklift / Telehandler Driver – Okehampton, EX20

Project: New Build Housing Development
Duration: Long Term
Start Date: February 2027

We are currently recruiting an experienced Forklift / Telehandler Driver for a new build housing site in Okehampton, EX20. This is a long-term assignment with an early 2027 start.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the site telehandler
• Load, unload, and distribute materials around site
• Carry out daily machine checks
• Assist trades with material movements
• Help with general labouring duties during quieter periods
• Follow all site health & safety procedures

? Requirements

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler/Forklift ticket
• Valid CSCS card
• Previous experience on new build housing sites
• Full PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots)
• Willingness to assist with labouring when required
• Reliable with a good attitude towards site work

Location

Okehampton, EX20

? Hours

Monday – Friday
07:30 start

9 hours paid per day

Pay

Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience.
