Senior Electrical Technician
Fixed Term (3 years) -Oxfordshire
Up to £45k
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK-based engineering organisation for a Senior Electrical Technician to join an experienced engineering team.
The role will involve the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding of complex electrical systems, together with providing technical guidance to other technicians and supporting engineers with equipment design and implementation.
Key requirements for the Electrical Technician -
- ONC/OND, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Practical experience with electrical/mechanical assembly, soldering, crimping, cable manufacture and rack wiring.
- Good understanding of electrical safety and safe systems of work.
- Experience of instrumentation or control systems would be advantageous.
- Some experience supervising, mentoring or training technical staff would be beneficial.
