Class 1 Trunking Driver

M4 Recruitment areseekingexperienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for AM and PM shifts, for our client in Colnbrook.This role is essential to ensuring efficient logistics and the timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centers.

Shift &Start Times

24/7 OPERATION - VARIOUS START TIMES AVAILABLE

Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week minimum

Competitive Pay Rates:

• Weekdays (08:00 - 19:00) £19.63
• Weeknights (19:00 - 08:00) £22.43
• Overtime £29.45 after working 40 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trunking Operations: Safely complete assigned trunking routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
• Communication: Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.
• Professionalism: Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) License
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points on license
• Clean DBS check
• Level D / Cargo Operative training
