About the Company

Our client is an established specialist interiors contractor operating across the dry lining and wider interior fit-out sector. • Produce regular cost/value reports and communicate commercial performance to senior management.
  • Manage procurement, subcontractor accounts, payments and final accounts.
  • Review contractual requirements and ensure compliance with commercial procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of variations, site instructions and contractual correspondence.
  • Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure works are accurately measured and valued.
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities, implementing measures to protect profitability.
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients, main contractors and subcontractors.
  • Monitor outstanding applications and payments to support cash flow.
  • Provide commercial advice and support to project teams.
  • Contribute to improved commercial procedures and project performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction.
  • Background in dry lining, partitions, ceilings or specialist interiors.
  • Strong post-contract commercial management experience.
  • Experience managing valuations, variations, applications for payment and final accounts.
  • Good understanding of subcontractor procurement and account management.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a clear focus on profitability.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting systems.
  • Relevant Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management qualification would be advantageous.
  • RICS membership or working towards professional accreditation would be beneficial.

What's on Offer

  • £60,000-£65,000 salary , depending on experience.
  • Excellent benefits package.
  • Permanent opportunity with an established specialist interiors contractor.
  • Opportunity to take ownership of commercial performance across dry lining projects.
