Butcher

Great opportunity to work as a Butcher for our client's pork-processing and abattoir site.
Staffline is recruiting Butchers in Westerleigh, Bristol.
The rate of pay is £13.63 per hour.
Overtime is available and is paid at £20.45 per hour.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:
- 06:45am to 4:30pm
Your Time at Work
As a Butcher you will be responsible for:
- Dismantling pork sides, shoulders, loins, bellies and legs into primal and sub-primal cuts
- Removing bones, excess fat and rind while minimizing product waste
- Operating sharp knives safely while following strict food hygiene and health regulations
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker must be able to do a heavy physical role for pro-longed periods, a level of manual lifting and heavy lifting is involved.
Applicants will be reliable, punctual and show good commitment.
Experience in a similar role is essential. Knife/Butcher skills are required.
