Relief Support Worker

Creative Support is seeking warm, reliable and proactive Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team at our supported living service in Reading. Our service supports individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to enjoy an active and fulfilled life.
As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to people residing at the service, supporting them to take part in all aspects of everyday life, enjoy a wide range of activities, and follow their passions.

• Support with daily living tasks (community access, money management, health and wellbeing, employment, etc).
• Empower people to gain independence, confidence and competence in their independent living skills.
• Provide practical and emotional support, encouraging the people we support to express their needs, views and concerns.

You will have skills in positive communication and engagement, and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support.
A minimum of 12 months' experience in care is essential for all Relief roles.
Hours are as required on a zero-hour basis.
As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you'll have access to our SONA app, which allows you to pick up shifts anywhere in the country and provides information on services and shifts, as well as directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis via our Bank payroll.
A minimum of 12 months' care experience is required for all Relief roles.
