The role
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to carry out delivery work from a Tamworth-based operation. This is a temporary, daytime position suited to a professional driver who takes pride in safe, reliable and customer-focused service.
Key responsibilities
Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
Completing deliveries in line with agreed schedules
Loading, securing and unloading goods safely
Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any issues
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Maintaining a professional manner at delivery locations
Following relevant road safety, transport and site procedures
Skills and qualifications
Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement
Experience driving curtainsider vehicles
Good knowledge of safe loading and load security
Strong understanding of UK road safety requirements
Reliable, punctual and professional approach
Ability to complete delivery paperwork and follow instructions
Good communication and customer service skills
Benefits
