The role
We are seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to support office relocation and storage work across the local area and beyond. Working as part of a two-person crew, you will help ensure goods and equipment are transported safely, securely and on schedule.
Key responsibilities
Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle responsibly and in line with road safety requirements
Supporting loading, unloading and the careful handling of office furniture and equipment
Working closely with a second crew member during collections and deliveries
Completing vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly
Following delivery instructions and maintaining a professional approach at customer sites
Helping keep loads secure and the vehicle clean and organised
Skills and qualifications
A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles
Comfortable working as part of a two-person crew
Good awareness of vehicle safety and load security
Physically fit and able to assist with manual handling
Reliable, punctual and presentable
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Benefits
