Estimator - Customer & Sales Support

Location: Neath
Salary: Up to £30,000 Depending on experience
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

We are recruiting an Estimator to join an established manufacturing business in Neath.

This is a customer-focused role rather than a design-heavy position . We're looking for someone who is excellent on the telephone, enjoys understanding customer requirements and can recommend the right product solution.

You'll also need some 2D AutoCAD experience , as you'll make straightforward amendments to existing drawings when required. You don't need to be a CAD Designer, the key is being comfortable using CAD alongside strong customer communication skills.

The role

• Handle customer enquiries by telephone and email
• Understand requirements and recommend suitable products
• Prepare and follow up quotations
• Make amendments to existing 2D AutoCAD drawings
• Build strong customer relationships and help convert enquiries into orders
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the company's specialist product range
• Maintain accurate information using the CRM system
• Work closely with Sales, Production and other internal teams

What we're looking for

• Excellent telephone and customer communication skills
• Customer service, internal sales, estimating or sales support experience
• Some 2D AutoCAD experience - essential
• Strong attention to detail and organisation
• Confidence using IT and CRM systems
• A proactive, customer-focused approach
• A genuine willingness to learn the product range in depth

This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys speaking with customers and solving problems, rather than someone looking for a predominantly CAD/design-based position.

Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity, 22 days' holiday + bank holidays, pension and ongoing training and development.
