Stuck senior in a static team? This Manchester practice is growing.

A senior electrical engineer in a static team learns the same year twice. A growing practice does not give you the option, which is the entire appeal of this one.The firm is a collaborative building services consultancy with a growing Manchester team and a broad client mix. The workload is expanding faster than the headcount, which is why this seat exists and why the person filling it will have influence beyond their job title. You lead electrical design across a genuinely varied project list, working closely with a friendly, fast moving team and dealing directly with clients. The consultancy environment rewards engineers who like pace and dislike bureaucracy, and the growth means the next step up is a matter of when rather than if.Growth also changes the arithmetic of progression. In a static team you wait for someone to leave; in a growing one the next role gets created around the people already performing. The engineers who join expanding practices at moments like this are usually the ones running them five years later. The office sits in the centre of Manchester, easy to reach from across the region, and the team's social fabric is genuinely good, which matters more than most adverts admit. If your current team has settled into maintenance mode, this one has not. Salary is between £47,000 and £60,000.Send a CV or just have a conversation about where the team is heading. If you've read this far and you're still unsure and would prefer a detailed market insight including salary bands and market trends - then check out our free guide here:
