Principal/Senior Analyst – Power Markets Analysis

​We are currently supporting a leading power markets consultancy with the appointment of a Senior Analyst / Principal to join its growing team.The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex client engagements, contribute to commercial and market analysis, and develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the energy sector.Key responsibilities include:Managing and delivering complex, multi-party client projects and transactionsApplying power market modelling and analytical frameworks to address client requirementsPresenting analysis and recommendations to senior client stakeholdersSupporting client development, proposals and commercial opportunitiesDeveloping market scenarios, commercial narratives and asset value analysisContributing to the development of analytical capabilities and market knowledgeSupporting and mentoring junior members of the teamThe successful candidate will have a strong understanding of power markets, commercial drivers, asset value dynamics and analytical methodologies, alongside the ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and effectively.The position can be considered at Senior Analyst or Principal level, depending on experience.If you have experience across power markets, energy trading, asset valuation, market analysis or commercial advisory and are interested in a client-facing role with significant responsibility, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.Discipline(s): Trading and Procurement, Renewable EnergyJob type: Permanent
